Job description  

Pinnacle Labs is looking for a candidate that seeks a challenging position in an independent testing laboratory serving the cannabis analytical laboratory industry. The successful candidate will be reliable, exhibit strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS, must:

• Have a valid driver’s license.

• Be at least 21 years old.

• Must be able to meet the eligibility requirements for employment within a cannabis business set by the state of Maryland.

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The laboratory technician is responsible and accountable for the testing, quality control, and tracking of cannabis material.

• Ensures the safe, accurate, and timely testing of cannabis products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Follow policies and procedures for daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations.

• Prepare samples for potency, residual solvents, terpenes, heavy metals, and microbial testing.

• Develop expertise in testing methods.

• Responsible for inventory of supplies and cannabis tracking and destruction

• Responsible for accurate weighing and recording all product weights.

• Works in a timely manner and strives to improve quality and maintain accuracy.

• Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned, which include cannabis pick-up and transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
